Farm Rescue - Giving Hearts Day

Farm Rescue

Year after year, Farm Rescue has seen exponential growth in the support of their mission to assist farm families in crisis. They do so by providing volunteer-led planting, haying, harvest, and livestock feeding assistance to farmers and ranchers experiencing a major injury, illness, or natural disaster. This Giving Hearts Day, they achieved second place in Fundraising Growth, more than doubling their fundraising total from the year prior.

Since its start in 2006, Farm Rescue has assisted more than 1,000 farm families throughout the region. With this year’s fundraising growth, they will be able to expand their efforts beyond this region. The team plans to launch operations in Wisconsin in July, in addition to the 8 Midwest states they currently serve.

Supporting the Future of Agriculture

The Farm Rescue team operates under the belief that the assistance they provide reaches much further than the individual farms they support. Each of these farm families is not only vital to the communities they serve, but also to the longevity of agriculture being passed on to future generations.

Unfortunately, no one is immune to crisis, but when it reaches the hard working families that are the backbone of rural America, they can rest assured knowing their fellow farmers are rallying around them.
